Submission key:
  • ACCEPTED: Everything is good, you're good, the app is good. You can pat yourself on the back and sit back 'til the acceptance letter comes in.
  • ACCEPTED, BUT...: There's something you need to clarify, or something that needs just a little tweaking. But you're still in, and applications for your character are closed. Rewrite whatever needs it, -then- pat yourself on the back.
  • REVISE OR DIE!: A common phrase for, "The reviewers loved your core concept, but you need to change some things. Please please PLEASE revise, we really want to accept you!" Applications will still be open for this character until you (or someone) gets an 'accept'.
  • REJECT/REVISE: Your character has one or two glaring problems, or a slew of small faults. Do your best to correct them and try again, and your character could still have potential.
  • AUTOREJECT: Someone was smoking crack. Either they applied for a character that doesn't exist, or they left something blank, or they didn't pay attention to the rules or theme, or no one could make sense out of a -single word- of the app (the last one happens, sad but true).
  • CHARACTER TAKEN: Alas, you sent yours in too late, or we chose another app from the same batch over yours. In this case, we hope you had a second choice in mind...? ^_^;

Remember to submit your apps via the Genesis forum.

Astral Senshi

Rook Zakar -- Damali Manasa (revised): CHARACTER TAKEN. While Dama didn't get the Zakar slot, we would love for you to come back and reapply, either with a new concept or a suitably heavy rework of Damali for another sphere, because you are coolio. You had a good grasp of Atlantean stuffs and writing, we'd just suggest that you work on more plothooks in the future -- even introverts need a reason to be out there interacting, and it'd be rough to try and portray a character like Dama who appears, at first glance to onlookers, to have a very bland personality, as you described. COME BACK SOON PLS. <3

Rook Zakar -- Galen Svajone: ACCEPT. JUNGIAN. SUMMON SPELLS. Ever'body was deeply excited to be a part of this plan, as well as Galen's need to generate mystery and his love of all things symbolic. The Dreamscape is awesome and will be incorporated into 'canon', as it were, for plothooks. This is awesome and well fleshed out and we love it nine times YAY.

Rook Ninsun -- Frodofried mais Inachevé REJECT. This... did not... quite... grok the game's theme. ^^; There is no revise on this because while we'd be happy for you to try again, you'll need to start from scratch and not use this particular concept. This is an old man in a magical-girl game, and the anachronisms -- even for a fictional Bronze Age -- really do run too rampant to ignore. There is obviously a high level of writing skill, here, but we strongly advise you to re-read the other characters and the stories to get a better feel for what we're looking for.

Primal Senshi

Rook Shamash -- Ilo of the Mehrzad: ACCEPT. What can one say other than OMGWTFAWESOME? The line, "as a lightbringer, it kind of sucks" made us laugh out loud, and Ilo is Awesome McMohawk who fits the Sun sphere beautifully. Boomerang is a great weapon choice, and the plot hooks make Laris want to squeeze-hug you til you POP but not really because that would hurt. YAY SHAMASH.
